Come As You Are—God Will Meet You Where You’re At.

“Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.” -Luke 15:6

You are welcome here. Whether you know nothing about faith, practice Christianity, or feel somewhere in the middle— you are meant to be right here. Jesus once told the parable of how, out of 100 sheep, if 1 were to get lost, He would leave the 99 others in order to return the lost sheep.  Jesus would do the same for you, too, as He describes that there will be more celebration in Heaven over one sinner repenting than 99 righteous people who do not need repentance.

God perfectly created the world.

And still thought it needed you on it.

Why Seek God?

Jesus died for you. If you have never prayed before or if you attend Sunday mass every week, Jesus still died for you! God is always standing right beside you, waiting at all times with His hands out so that you can reach Him whenever you are ready. Can you believe that? God decided to step outside of our own worldly knowledge of time and space to be with you at all times. God sent his only son, Jesus, down to Earth to die and suffer for humankind’s sins so that His children can live in Heaven. Hallelujah! And no, God isn’t seeking perfect, consistent, Christian people because they don’t exist. He is standing there, unconditionally loving and eternally forgiving all of His creations, even if they neglect him, deny him, worship him, or love him. God is always there waiting for you to choose Him and He will meet you where you are, so accept His gifts and praise Him!

Koinonia

noun (pronounced koy-no-nee-uh)-

Christian fellowship or communion, with God or with fellow Christians.

“Koinonia” is originally used 20 times in the Bible, primarily in the New Testament, but often translated to similar words and phrasing in various versions. Koinonia refers to the ideal Christian community but more specifically, the relationship among Christians and the relationship between Christians and God. Koinonia is both the horizontal and vertical connections as believers of Christ. The horizontal connection is us serving each other, worshipping together, and participation in the Church. The vertical connection is us praying to the Lord, repenting against sin, and glorifying God. The horizontal and vertical connections demonstrate the horizontal and vertical planks that construct the cross!
